Grasspaper?
During the manufacturing process paper based on wood fibers is being mixed with grass fibers. This grass is derived from local compensation areas. It is characterized by its energy-saving processing that needs less water and chemicals during the paper manufacturing process.
In contrast to the manufacturing process of wood fibers it is possible to save up to 75% CO2 during the grass fiber fabrication.
As a matter of quality, we only use FSC® or PEFC certified papers for all our ELLER foodPackaging products. That also applies to our “natureGrass” product line.
